With 6:2 points, the SKC eggolsheim was rewarded for a great season at the cup match in unterharmersbach, achieved a new track record with a grandiose crowd of 3417 and were now able to prove their skills for the first time in the final four of the DKBC cup.

Helga friede and corina wirsching made the start in a high class match. Both secured their opening sets, while friede had to give in to her opponent in the next set. Although she came close again in the last set, she had to leave the point with the hostess at 2:2 sets and 550 to 562 woods. Wirsching, on the other hand, pulled the teeth out of her opponent, especially with her magnificent second set, and secured herself point and point with 3:1 sets and a team-best score of 592 to 544 woods.
Habfurther with hardest game
Tamara burgis and manuela habfurther took to the track in the middle. In a thrilling duel burgis finally secured the second important team point with 3:1 sets and a great 573 to 556. Habfurther had the hardest task to solve. Despite a 4-0 defeat, she held her own against her nominally strongest opponent and did not give away too many woods with a strong 578 to 635.
With the match still completely open and only minus four pins, anna ritthaler and melanie schwarzmann went to the well falling layout.
Ritthaler secured two sets directly with a constant game to ignite the turbo once again in the last set. With a good score of 557 to 516 she secured her point and important woods for the victory. Schwarzmann fought a duel with her opponent at eye level.
In the decisive last set she put everything into the balance, played a good last lane and secured the last team point and holzer to the grandiose win in the away game.
