20000 Euros for the digital city hall
Digital management is making rough headway. Bamberg is also on the way to becoming a "digital city hall. Bavaria’s digital minister judith gerlach handed over a 20,000-euro demand notice to the city of bamberg, according to a press release, to help expand online services in municipal administration. Mayor andreas stark: "as part of the city of bamberg’s digital agenda, we want to successively offer all administrative services for our citizens online as well, thus further improving our service."
Digital minister judith gerlach emphasized: "the administration must guarantee the highest level of service for our citizens – simple, fast, online. And around the clock, whether from the comfort of your couch or via app on the go. Applying for a resident parking permit or registering a business must be done in just a few clicks. The burger rightly expects the levels to also work closely together digitally. We want to reduce hurdles between citizens and the state and create concrete added value.".
